Turck Sensors  New IP 67 with 8 port AIM Station > Turck FAS8 for AS interface networks

Turck have just released their latest IP67 rated FAS8 Advanced I/0 module

(AIM) station that has given customers an innovative eight-port AIM station model.  Before it only had four port configurations.

The FAS8 has a digital PNP I/O signal for each port with the extra choice for 2A outputs. Turck have also created the 8 port AIM to fulfil the newest AS-I V3.0 specifications. The Turck FAS8 features PNP short-circuit protected inputs, the Turck  FAS8 automatically reduces current to stop failures if a sensor were to malfunction, as well as notifying users via a fault signal of any short circuit. The FAS8 supports AS-I flat and circular cables.

This product is fully encapsulated and potted therefore getting rid of the need for a separate enclosure. The FAS8 is perfect for outdoor use and indoor use as it protect s against dust and moisture that could prevent performance in both wet and dry conditions.
