Turck Banner has introduced a new addition to its machine safety product line- the EZ-SCREEN low profile safety light curtain with integral muting.

It has first and last beams at column ends for continuous sensing. The Banner EZ-SCREEN is type 4 two part safety system, available with a 14mm or 25mm resolution.

It has defined areas from 270 to 1810mm by 6 metres. It also has a clear emitter/receiver alignment indication diagnostic and system status display.

It has cascadeable emitters and receivers to make installation easy and with no overlap. It has solid-state safety outputs and a fast response time.

They are small and compact however are very strong. The new integral muting models means the Banner EZ- SCREEN products allow more mounting flexibility hook-up options and functionality.

The Banner EZ-SCREEN LP has a sensing range from 100mm to 7m. It offers seven muting configurations and the safety light curtain is suitable for a wide range of applications. Also Mute Lamp and status outputs can be relayed to the EZ-LIGHT (or other indicating devices). with a disconnect(RD) cordset which can be removed and accessory end cap mounting bracket. It has Status, Reset, Zone, Mute Device and Diagnostic indicators and shows  the amount of beams that are blocked and provides detailed diagnostics. There is also a selectable emitter test option to stimulate a blocked option. The EZ-SCREEN LP also has two or four mute device or sensor hook-up options and a CSM muting splitter Cordset which providing a complete QD connectorised solution for easy installation.
