Sick has broadened their Flexi-Soft range to feature Sick innovative FX3-M0C safety controller, offering improved versatility to allow safe operator involvement via a number of drive safety capabilities to help increase productivity as well as lessen machine downtime.
It is designed to be used in both stationary and mobile safety applications. It allows the consumer put their hand inside the machine and not having to turn the power off.
In addition the Sick FX3-MOC can be used on automated guided vehicles with Sick safety laser scanners to monitor and keep check on vehicle movements.
The Sick FX3-MOC supports all motor feedback interfaces and standard encoders; the brand new Sick safety controller is perfect for a huge range of mobile and stationary safety applications. It is also perfect for machines which need regular intervention when keeping a managed speed, and provides constant safe operation.
The Sick FX-MO3 lowers the maintenance and set-up needed due to the fact that the machine sequence does not need to be stopped. If the drives are stopped then they are still powered, therefore allowing for a fast restart without needing to reference the drives again.
The Sick FX3 MOC drive could be set up using Sick software, which is available f.o.c. to down load. A maximum of 6 drive monitors are achievable on an individual Flexi soft main module. Sick FX3-MOC meets the IEC 61800-5-2 regulations. It is perfect for DC, AC, servo stepper motors as well as other types of drive.
