Burkert Fluid Control have managed to combine the functions of a flow transmitter and pulse divider into one.

The 8022 range from Burkert provides both current and pulse output alternatives allows the operator to have the choice between optional display and operating module which is for configuration and flow display.

The integrated configuration of the Burkert 8022 range fulfils the needs of customers across the variety of process operations and it has lower equipment costs as well as operational handling effort, therefore allowing two devices to now just become one. The Burkert 8022 range can now display and additionally process the flow calculated by Burkert’s sensors, types 8020,8030 or 8070.

This allows for a lower cost upgrade from a flow sensor to a flowmeter with a standard output, the 8022 is a space saver due to the fact that it can be direct mounted on top of the sensors. When it has been mounted the Burkert 8022 converts pulses from the sensor into normal signals for further processing, for example by a control system.
