Balluff's rod style BTL CD Transducer takes the pressure

Balluff has realsed a new high pressure rated rod style tranducer with a high working pressure of 1000 bar specifically for hydraulic cylinders handling massave loads.

The Balluff Micropulse BTL CD are based on proven magnetostrictive measuring technology. With an absolute and non-contact measuring principle it is ideal for fail safe, precise, and measurment of the pistion in hydraulic cylinders.

The Micropulse BLT CD is constucted from stainless steel with a specail flange and rod design guarantee relability in demanding applications

This range of new Transducers from Balluff are available in stoke lengths from 25mm to 2000mm and are able to with stand pressure peaks of 1350 bar the transducer outer rod has a diameter of 12.7mm. an outer wall thickness of 3.25mm and is manufactured from HP160 stainless steel. Both Analogue current and voltage outputs are available pulse digital, SSI, Profibus and CANopen interfaces. An Ethernet coms version of the Balluff BLT transducer will be available by the end of 2011.

The BLT CD transducers have the advantage of tried and tested technology from the Balluff Micropulse 600 bar rated transducers. These Transducers from Balluff are perfect for applications that require reliability and precision and are suitable for measurement lengths between 25 and 7500mm.
