Balluffs new range of rugged sensors designed specifically for magnetic position sensing in pneumatic cylinders the new Balluff BMF255 range .

This brand new Balluff sensor is 25mm in length and is also ATEX certified it is ideal to be used in areas that come into contact with dust, gases and vapours. The product also is available with a 6 metre cable and the switch also has a IP67 protection rating. The Balluff BMF255 is fitted to a ‘T’ Slot cylinder from above by using a stainless steel screw to secure and clamp the sensor in place. If you have a round and tie bar profile cylinder then we can select for you a mounting clamp from the range that is required, this holds pneumatic cylinders with tie bars of up to 20mm in diameter. The Balluff switching function is Namur normally open, The Balluff BMF255 also has a LED function indicator also the switch has a protection standard of IP67. The BMF255 total length is 25mm and this makes it ideal for short stroke cylinders. The six metre long integral cable allows the customer to have a fast and simple connection.
