Balluff’s brand new colour sensor the BFS 33M, this is a true-colour sensor of the highest class.

It does not matter what type of object that you show the sensor it can identify them with great accuracy.

The Balluff BFS33M sensor can detect the smallest change in shades, the minutest grey level differences or small changes in the surface properties without effort. The BFS33M can accurately detect objects and switches the corresponding output with lightening speed. Anything up to seven objects can be signalled on the switching outputs in this way.

Also the Lab colour values can be directly output on a serial interface. Unique compensation as well as individual calibration allows this sensor to achieve a very high accuracy spanning over a long period of time. The Balluff BFS 33M is a lot more than a simple colour sensor.

As it is a true colour sensor it can accurately detect each individual colour within the technical colour space, rendering it perfect when used in highly demanding applications such as: robotics, automated assembly, or when used in industries such as packaging or wood processing.
