Kiepe HEN Pull Rope Switch\r\nBelt Conveyor - Pull Rope Switch\r\nHEN\r\n\r\n\r\nA P P L I C A T I O N\r\n\r\nKiepe pull rope emergency stop switches are used according to DIN\r\nEN 620 requirements together with functionally suited accessories,\r\nlargely consisting of pull rope, tension springs and eyebolts, for\r\nthe assembly of emergency stop systems at fixed belt conveyors.\r\nThese emergency stop systems meet the requirements of international\r\nsafety standards to ensure safety at work and to prevent\r\ndamage and destruction of the machine (BGI 710).\r\n\r\nO P E R A T I O N\r\n\r\nThe emergency stop function is implemented with positive making\r\nnormally closed contacts according to the closed circuit principle.\r\nThe direct operating switching mechanism inside the switch is of\r\nsnap action and is actuated when the pull rope is either pulled\r\nin any direction or if the rope breaks. After the triggering of the\r\nemergency stop function, the switching mechanism locks in the off\r\nposition. Through manual actuation of the blue reset lever locally\r\nat the pull rope switch the switching mechanism is reset to the\r\noperating position and the belt conveyor is prepared for start-up.\r\nThe resetting of the switching mechanism may not start the belt\r\nconveyor.\r\n\r\nWith the HEN type pull rope switch, the pull rope is symmetrically\r\ntensioned on both sides of the red release lever and thus a\r\ncomplete compensation of the rope forces at the release lever\r\nis achieved.
