Festo Didactic - Pneumatic Training\r\n\r\nIntroduction to Electro-Pneumatics\r\n\r\nDesigned as a general introduction to the function and operation of pneumatic and electrical equipment used in simple Electro-Pneumatic controls, the course covers the design and practical construction of such circuits.\r\n\r\nThe course deals with the control of pneumatic actuators using electrical sensing and switching devices. Electrical principles are covered at a basic level, but some previous knowledge of pneumatic equipment is required.\r\n\r\nTraining Outcomes\r\nOn completion of this course, participants will be able to:\r\n\r\nRead and understand Electro-Pneumatic circuit diagrams \r\nDesign Electro-Pneumatic circuits \r\nUnderstand fundamentals and terminology of Electro-Pneumatic control engineering \r\nUnderstand the function and operation of a range of proximity sensors \r\nRead, interpret and construct motion diagrams \r\nUnderstand Pneumatic symbols \r\nUnderstand Electro-Pneumatic symbols \r\nConstruct multi-cylindercontrol circuits\r\nN.B.
