Emergency stop modules / monitors
dold history
dold developed their first e-stop module the BN5983 In 1988, for the use of man machine protection.
This allowed the expensive usual contactor controls and expenisive wiring to be replaced with the dold BN5983 saving space in the control cabinate and no interconnecting wiring.
Dolds current emegancy modules have again set a benchmark in the industry with a width of just 17.5mm and a depth of 70mm.
For larger installations where multiple e-stop buttons are required, it is useful to know in a short space of time which button has been opporated, minimising down times. With this requirement in mind Dold produces dedicated e-stops button monitors which feature indication and bus outputs.
