New Burkert 6624 / 6626 Compact Burkert Solenoid Valve with TwinPower Technology

The new Burkert solenoid valve has TwinPower actuation technology, therefore increasing power density in solenoid valves by using two coils.

This Burkert valve design comes in the types 6624 and 6626 media-separated, miniature solenoid valves. The Burkert valves are compact, powerful and energy efficient.

This means the Burkert valves are smaller, without the loss of performance.

The Burkert valves have pulse and hold electronics, therefore 100ms after being turned on it reduces energy consumption by 75% and reduces heat emissions. The surface-to-volume ratio of the valves is optimised to allow the coils to release heat far quicker than before into the surrounding atmosphere. An LED in the valve top shows the valve switching status.

Both the 6624 and 6626 are direct acting solenoid valves. The Burkert 6624 is suitable for use with aggressive media in the range from vacuum to 2bar. They come in 2/2 way and 3/2 way versions. The 6624 has smaller dimensions; the width per station is only 10mm, with nominal orifice DN 1.6. Data for 6626 will be available soon.
